Director, Legal and Government Affairs, Microsoft

Jeth Lee is Microsoft Singapore’s Director of Legal and Government Affairs. He heads public policy, legal and compliance for Singapore, and leads privacy policy across Asia.

Jeth is responsible for navigating the organisation through complex regulatory environments and brokering public-private partnerships across a wide range of critical issues, including the responsible use of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, sustainability, and cybersecurity.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Jeth spent a decade in leadership and management roles at the Singapore Exchange. He was the group’s chief compliance officer and lead counsel. Earlier in his career, he practised securities law at Allen & Gledhill, a leading Singapore law firm.

Jeth read law at the National University of Singapore, where he was chief editor of the law review, and holds a master’s degree in corporate law from New York University. He is qualified as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore.
